World of Warships
Logged into the NA account last (Wed) and saw the Sail Around the World with Emden event just dropped. Figured why not. Won't say no to the free ship.
The German Unity event also dropped. Among the Unity package are a couple of other ships being offered singly, both Tier VIII - Schill and Wiesbaden. There is a third, Z-35 which is offered along with the two as part of a sequential bundle package.
The three ships are unobtainable on this account for me but I DO have all three on my SEA account.
To unlock the free gift Emden I first had to complete three mission task. And was able to do so playing the Tier V Konigsberg. It is really nice to play this ship after grinding the lower tier vessels although the lower-tiered battleships - Konig and Kaiser - play well enough. Especially when they one-shot ships foolish enough to present open broadsides - cruisers, even other battleships.
In my time playing this game, I have heard of but never seen these two unobtainables - DD 214 and Arkansas B on the SEA server - ever. Both ships are unavailable for sale. But tonight, I saw and played with them. My collector heart sighed.

Saw a YT streamer earlier today (Friday) go through the current Research Bureau ship listing for 2026. And it was pretty much similar to my own conclusions. Some stinkers that I was aware of, but his insights on a few others surprised me.
Only ship I'm interested in therefore is Vampire II. Primarily because it's a Commonwealth vessel, and has links to Australia. Possibly Irresistible. Also another Commonwealth ship.

What to expect in the next Update. Dropped today (Tuesday 6 Oct) on SEA server.

Kriegsspiel
Just saw Little TV's 2026 International Kriegsspiel Cup highlights after grinding Clemson for Nicholas in WOWS tonight (Fri/Sat 2/3 Oct). Part I showed two rounds with eight team competing.
Part II will show the grand final between Little TV, two-time winners, and the other team (I forget the name). I wonder who will win?!
Interesting to say the least. The game, not the event.
It's more or less the original wargaming which has always fascinated me. I joined a global PBEM game several years back through facebook that unfortunately fell through for whatever reason.
I may look deeper into Kriegsspiel now that I know where to look. Need a change from the usual same-old same-old that's become quite stale - very stale. A new interest that's definitely worth investigating.
While wargamers can be welcoming, they can be quite cliquey. I'm not expecting too much as I'm only going to be making enquiries. It depends on how much I want to learn about the game. And I really want to learn as much as possible.
